This new moon is the first of the year. I am feeling the need for inner child healing for this new moon, with rhodochrosite and bloodstone crystals for compassion (including self-compassion), grounding, calming, soothing, and even releasing trauma. Bloodstone will help find “joy in little things” as the darkness of the skies without the light of the moon can attract some oppressive and negative feelings.
Extra grounding with hematite around the new moon (Sunday to Saturday) will help ease energies around the moon in Capricorn and Pisces as the energy of the new moon becomes heightened.
Happy Chinese, Lunar New Year for Wednesday too! The year of the snake is all about transformation. You may notice big shifts occurring in yourself and in life as opportunities to grow come your way. To transform, you need to know what you want to transform into. And this is why I feel selenite crystal would be great around now, through the new year and for a couple of weeks after Wednesday. Selenite will bring clarity to you and your path and allow the Snake energy to take you forward from there.
