For the first year of my moon healing programme I have loved working with various crystals and healing powers and entities to bring global and cosmic healing to individual people and their own unique lives, exploring just how much we are all connected as One but also so dynamically different. There have been ups and downs, some moons having a stark happy and creative effect, super moons that have at times blown us away with their power and strength to help and heal us along our paths, and some complex new moons where sometimes they are magical and protective in the dark, but sometimes needing a lot of protective energy for the forces that occur.
Through the year I also worked deeper with the impact of the moon in certain starsigns and increasingly added research each fortnight into how the moon energies changed with the starsigns.
This led me to be intrigued by what happened if I followed the moon in my starsign outside of the full and dark moon times. This was so exciting, I’m So glad I did this! Here is what I wrote to those I heal in my moon healing programme after this first test:
“Something else fun about the moon energies recently, which I wanted to share with you, I tested out what happened when the moon was in my starsign Sagittarius at the half-moon stage. I marked the dates in my calendar so I knew they were coming up. And I watched and waited and there was such magic in the air! I found such an increase in creative ideas flowing, and the position of the moon was all about fulfilling goals, putting ideas into practice. It was so helpful for me to honour this moon time, I will be looking out for next time the moon is in my sign, even if it isn’t a full or new moon.”
The creative energy from this Sagittarius moon phase led to me setting up a moon crystal grid for the first time at the next full moon! I put together my mini crystal ball (clear quartz) in the centre, as my full moon, with blue lace agate and honey calcite crystals dotted around the moon centre (these were my chosen moon crystals for the moon healing programme that full moon). I also placed a couple of moon and stars crystal pendants around the crystals too. I put this beautiful crystal grid on my windowsill as it started to get dark and kept it there each evening and overnight until the full moon completed its moment. The energy was amazing immediately!! The light was bouncing the crystals’ colours through the crystal ball. I had interesting dreams of crystals and woke with some truly groundbreaking epiphanies for myself. So I’m pretty pleased with my moon grid idea!
With this first test being such a success, I then waited for round two! This time the moon was at just 18%, Waxing Crescent, in Sagittarius. A thin little beautiful bright crescent light. I feel this is a time of hope and positivity, a time when energy can go into new exciting ideas. A time, even if you are full of fear about something, you can approach it much more happily. Once again I had the same creative burst! It really helped me push forwards with projects. I’d done a lot of leg work, I just needed to step forward. This moon energy gave me the power to do so.
This time I tuned into what crystal would help me most at this Sagittarius moon time. It took me a while to figure out which crystal would be best as it wasn’t one of my standard go-to crystals. The crystal I needed was Dumortierite. I adore this crystal, it is dark blue and reminds me of a midnight sky. It can look a bit like Sodalite crystal. I find Dumortierite helps me connect with my spiritual guides and receive psychic messages and spiritual downloads more clearly, accurately and easily. It is a very smart, intelligent crystal, with a long memory! It can bring ancient wisdom to you in a way which you will freely understand.
I placed a beautiful large palm stone of Dumortierite next to my new moon crystal healing grid on my windowsill (mainly consisting of hematite this time!), to draw in extra energy from the moon during my time! This has worked brilliantly to help me continue to connect with the moon at this time and work on my creative projects, like this message here!
